New Board members add to growing ITI leadership team

The ITI Board of Directors recently elected two, new transportation industry leaders, Michael J. Bruns and Christopher J. Connor, to its prestigious Board. The ITI Board consists of more than 50 executives and leaders from the freight and passenger transportation industries and it is associated with ITI, the Intermodal Transportation Institute at the University of Denver. Its members serve three-year terms.

Michael J. Bruns is President of Comtrak Logistics, Inc., a $190 million international drayage company, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, providing nationwide trucking and logistic services.' In 2006, Comtrak Logistics was acquired by Hub Group, Inc. Bruns is an Honorary Fellow of the ITI and a participant in the ITI Intermodal Founding Fathers Oral History Program. Christopher J. Connor is President of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Americas, LLC, and CEO of WWL Vehicle Services Americas, Inc., based in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.' In these roles Connor oversees all of Wallenius Wilhelmsen's deep sea ocean transportation, marine terminal, stevedoring, vehicle processing, and distribution management activities in North, South, and Central America.
