By: | at 08:45 AM | Transport Intermediaries

LeSaint Logistics, a nationally recognized provider of warehousing, inventory control, transportation management and technology solutions, has named Bill Lansaw as vice president of transportation. Lansaw will provide strategic direction involving the company’s transportation management operations, which includes multimodal (both contractual and brokerage), asset-based and technology solutions.

“In transportation, LeSaint Logistics provides a comprehensive, strategic approach to ultimately deliver an all-inclusive, end-to-end solution,” said Jeff Pennington, president. “As our customers’ transportation needs become more comprehensive in their overall supply chain strategy, it becomes critical that LeSaint has the leadership and resources to leverage on their behalf. Bill’s extensive experience in transportation will be a tremendous asset for us.” Lansaw’s professional experience spans more than 30 years in transportation management, sales, marketing, and operations. Previously he was in sales and marketing roles with The Osborne Logistics Group and Milan Express. He also has more than 25 years in sales roles with the former companies known as Roadway Express and Yellow Freight. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Indiana State University.

“LeSaint has a vision to continually bring significant multimodal knowledge, flexibility, and service levels that ultimately power the transportation components of our customers’ supply chains,” said Lansaw. “I look forward to leading the company’s ability to bring that vision to life.”
