Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Congestion Surcharge.
Please be advised that the congestion situation in Manila due to the empty truck ban continues to prolong, resulting in additional operational costs. In view of this, Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Congestion Surcharge for all import shipments to Manila with effect from the following dates on the respective trades.
Congestion Surcharge Destination (CGD): USD 100 per TEU
* Date of cargo arrival
Asia origins comprise of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Qatar and Yemen.
