Metro Ports, a holding of Nautilus International Holding Corp., recently announced the appointment of James Dillman to the position of president, Metro Ports.

As Metro Ports president, Dillman is in charge of Metropolitan Stevedore Co., Southeast Maritime Services LLC and Southeast Crescent Shipping Co., all of which use the Metro Ports dba. He will report directly to James Callahan, Nautilus International Holding Corp. chairman, president and CEO.

A 25-year maritime professional, Dillman most recently served as vice president of Ceres Gulf, Inc., in Houston, Texas. He has held various positions in the industry, including superintendent for stevedoring companies, port captain for steamship companies, and operations manager for the Port of Houston. During his career, he served as vice president North American operations for Swire Shipping, manager Barbours Cut Terminal operations for Shippers Stevedore Co., general manager of breakbulk operations for Marine Terminals Corp., general manager operations with BHP Shipping, assistant manager of operations at the Port of Houston Authority, and general manager for Ceres Great Lakes operations.
