MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. has announced that effective July 1, its subsidiary in Hong Kong, MOL Logistics (H.K.), Ltd. (Chairman: Masami Yamamoto) started operation of a new warehouse in Yuen Long, in the western part of the New Territories. The facility is MOL Logistics’ third warehouse in Hong Kong.  MLG Hong Kong warehouses are operating in Shatin and Tsuen Wan, and one in the Futian Free Trade Zone, Shenzhen. The company decided to open an additional warehouse after winning a new logistics project. In a departure from mainstream warehouse buildings in Hong Kong, MLG’s new facility in Yuen Long is a shed-type warehouse which directly links the truck loading dock and the product storage area. The entire series of operations—arrival of products—storage—sorting—processing—packaging—shipment—can be completed with greater efficiency. The new warehouse allows for high-quality logistics services, which further enhances the speed of Container Freight Station (CFS) operation, buyers consolidation, cross dock operation, and so on, in addition to normal warehousing operations. The company has already started inventory stocking and control, distributive processing, domestic delivery, and import/export operations for customers in the automotive and photocopier sectors.
