This March, the largest event in 2006 dedicated to showcasing solutions that make the supply chain work more productively and profitably is coming to Cleveland, OH - The 2006 Material Handling & Logistics Show and Conference (NA 2006). NA 2006 will be the largest trade show and educational conference devoted to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and logistics solutions held in North America in 2006.

An increasing number of companies are relying on material handling and logistics solutions, like the ones showcased at NA 2006, as a key competitive weapon for their global supply chains. With product lifecycles shortening and worldwide competition increasing, success depends on effective material handling & logistics solutions for the global supply chain—being able to deliver the right product to the right market at the right time.

When the 2006 Material Handling & Logistics Show and Conference (NA 2006) opens it’s doors on March 27, 2006 at Cleveland’s I-X Center it will showcase the solutions of over 400 exhibitors and include an Educational Conference featuring an Executive Forum Keynote that will provide expertise from industry leaders on breakthrough achievements in high performance supply chains. In addition, over 50 show floor educational seminars, an RFID Education Center, two detailed educational workshops and a 1 1/2 day short course outlining strategic planning for supply chain facilities will be offered during the NA 2006 Educational Conference.

Featuring top supply chain executives from Lucent Technologies, The Limited and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the NA 2006 Executive Forum will detail how they successfully transformed their supply chain and the bottom line achievements they attained as a result. Topics will include strategic decision-making, assessing and managing risk; and how to define and measure the returns from capital investments in supply chain infrastructure.

Keynote Speakers include:

  • Jon Wettstein, Vice President Operations, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc.
  • Paul Matthews, Senior Vice President - Limited Logistics Services, Inc., The Limited
  • Jose A. Mejia, President, Supply Chain Networks, Lucent Technologies
