U-Freight, Ltd. (UFL), the Hong Kong-headquartered international freight service and logistics group, has created a new management team to devise and implement strategic initiatives to help move the worldwide group forwards.

The team, known as the Navigators, consists of 12 executives - 11 Vice Presidents and a Corporate Project Administrator - selected from various U-Freight national offices around the world, which gives the team in-depth experience and wide expertise.

Comments UFL’s CEO, Simon Wong: ‘The Navigators team is an exciting management initiative that can only profit the group and our customers. The knowledge these executives have from years of senior management positions within the group will be utilized to create plans and policies that will help increase the quality of our product offering to customers worldwide.

‘The Navigators team complements other specialist management teams within the company such as the U-Freight China team. Set up in 2006, this consists of key executives from within the U-Freight Group and provides professional consultancy support services on matters relating to logistics in China to members of the company’s global office and partner network.

‘All 12 members of the Navigators team are long-serving UFL managers whose selection is a reflection of the valuable contribution that they have made to the company’s development. U-Freight has always had a firm belief in promoting from within. Given the collective experience of the 12 members of this new team, I’m sure that they are more than capable of driving forward our position in the various trades that we serve,” says Mr. Wong.

The Navigators team consists of: Amy Wong, U-Freight Ltd, Hong Kong; Bowin Lee, U-Freight Logistics, Hong Kong; Clara Chui, U-Freight America; Daniel Chung, U-Freight Korea; David Dai, U-Freight China; Frank Wang, U-Freight China; Julia Ho, U-Freight Singapore; Mike Aquino, U-Freight Philippines; Shuji Tomonaga, U-Freight Japan; Terence Tsang, U-Freight America; Vincent Chen, U-Freight Taiwan; and David Hui, Corporate Project Administrator.
