FPS Group – the global forwarding and consolidation network – has launched a new app for iPhones and Androids that enables members and customers to track ocean shipments passing through the FPS network. The app also provides access to the history of FPS, details of its global network and an outline of services offered by members, as well as offering an easy central channel for contact and enquiries. Says FPS IT Consultant Chito Rollan, who managed the project: “The new app makes it very easy for members and their customers to check the status of any ocean shipment, from any location, and at any time. “It will reduce members’ work in dealing with enquiries about shipment status from customers and fellow members, and will also make FPS more user-friendly.”
