Maersk Line is pleased to announce a new, direct service between the Far East and Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. On 28 January 2008, we will introduce a direct, weekly call in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on the Far East - West Africa 2 (FEW2) service. Thereby we can serve our customers from Far East to Abidjan and from Abidjan to Far East faster and more reliable.

The FEW2 service is one of two direct services linking the Far East and West Africa: FEW1 and FEW2. With our Far East to West Africa services, we offer our customers the following benefits:

  • Own feeder network and own offices in destination and origin countries
  • Best schedule integrity in the market and competitive transit times
  • Unmatched service to the northern range of West Africa (Mauritania to Cote d'Ivoire) via our North of Africa services with transhipment in Algeciras/Malaga
  • Coverage of the Cameroon to Congo range via our North of Africa services with transhipment in Algeciras
