NYK Group Americas Inc. has announced W. Patrick Burgoyne as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ceres Terminals Incorporated, effective April 1, 2013. Mr. Burgoyne has served since 2010 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Yusen Terminals Inc., a role he will retain concurrently moving forward. He will be based at the Ceres’ Corporate headquarters in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Burgoyne has spent twenty years in various international container and terminal operating positions at Sea-Land, Maersk Line and APM Terminals prior to joining NYK Group in 2008 as then COO of Yusen Terminals Inc. which is based in Los Angeles. Mr. Burgoyne is also a member of the NYK Group Americas Inc. Board of Directors which oversees group activities in the region.

Thomas J. Simmers, who has successfully led the Ceres Terminals Incorporated since 2003, will be leaving the organization effective March 31st. The management team at NYK Group Americas, Inc. has a great deal of appreciation for Tom's excellent contribution to Ceres Terminals Incorporated over the years and wish him success in his future endeavors.
