The structure will have 182 dock doors, and over 770 parking slots designed to streamline port-related distribution and development activities. Open 24/7, the center is an ISO 9001:2000 certified warehouse and logistics facility and has the ability to handle in excess of 300 import containers per day.
Certified as a US Customs bonded warehouse, with close proximity to all major port terminals and highways, the yearly throughput volumes are anticipated to exceed 75 million cartons.
This location will employ more than 375 people during peak operations and will house all three of NLA's divisions under one roof - warehouse, transportation, and international.
The services offered by these three divisions include supply chain management, overseas consolidation, trans-loading, ocean and airfreight transportation. Customers will include Minneapolis-based Target Stores along with other major retailers and consumer-geared companies.
