Freight forwarders wanting fast access to Amerijet International's all-cargo flights serving the Americas, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia can now gain instant schedule information and operational and marketing updates from the airline via OAG Cargo.

The Miami-based Boeing 767-200 and B727-200 freighter operator is the latest airline to support OAG Cargo's online decision support tools for the airfreight industry, now used by nearly 34,000 freight forwarders globally.

Using OAG Cargo, cargo agents are able to access air cargo rates, cargo schedules, operational announcements, dangerous goods updates and more. Amerijet International will publish its full schedules using OAG Cargo's Cargo Flights service. This enables cargo agents to quickly and efficiently identify direct and connecting flights in order to create and plan shipments. The airline will also use OAG's Inforwarding Announcements to communicate operational and marketing updates.

'The Inforwarding service provides us with a rapid, effective and cost-efficient method of reaching existing and potential customers, while providing individual subscribers with the specific information they've actually requested,' said Christine Richard, Marketing Director for Amerijet International Inc.

Teri McConney, OAG Cargo's Regional Sales Manager, South America, based in Miami, said: 'Amerijet International has been an OAG Cargo customer for several years and through this latest agreement, it will increase the level of information its publishes to our global freight forwarder audience. The addition of its schedules from and to Latin America, for example, will help us satisfy growing demand from our forwarder users for more information on the important region.'
