Former Sony executive joins logistics company OHL

Third party logistics company, OHL, recently hired Dan Gannon as Vice President, Global Account Management.' In this new role, Gannon will oversee the 3PL's growing presence in the high tech and consumer electronics vertical market.

Gannon has over twenty-five years of global supply chain management experience as well as a strong distribution and transportation background with Sony Electronics. 'Most recently, he served as Vice President-US Operations for Sony Supply Chain Solutions where he was responsible for all distribution operations, transportation and business planning functions for the electronics segment including the movement of goods from Asia to the US.

'I joined OHL after spending over 10 years as a valued customer of the company,' said Gannon.' 'I was impressed with their management team, their proven desire to work with customers to develop and implement solutions and their flexibility. 'I look forward to taking the portfolio of OHL services and solutions to the high tech industry. 'It is now my turn to walk the talk that I so often asked the OHL team to do for me as a customer.'
