J. Wes Frye, senior vice president ' finance and CFO of Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., has been recognized on Institutional Investor's America's Best CFOs list for 2011.

Frye ranked second on the Airfreight & Surface Transportation industry list and will be honored June 1 at the magazine's CFO Awards Dinner on the New York Stock Exchange Trading Floor.

In compiling the list, Institutional Investor surveyed 1,300 analysts and investment professionals from more than 550 firms. The CFOs on the list are part of Institutional Investor's 2011 All-America Executive Team, which also includes notable CEOs, investor relations professionals and companies.

Frye, a certified public accountant, has been with Old Dominion since 1985 and has been a senior vice president since 1997.
