Old Dominion expanding CA operations; Opens Service Center in San Jose, California

Bob Foote, Vice President of the Western Region for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the opening of a service center in San Jose, California. The 45-door facility is situated on a 3 1/2 acre site located at 390 Commercial Street. Manager of Sales & Service, Clay Sagun will direct a staff of 13.

Commenting on the opening, Foote said, ‘The opening of the San Jose, California Service Center places us in the heart of the nation’s 10th largest city and will offer improved transit times through expanded direct coverage to 15 new cities south of San Jose. We are pleased to introduce Old Dominion’s unique transportation solutions to the San Jose market.’

Old Dominion has 10 other California service centers located in Bakersfield, Chico, Fresno, Los Angeles, Modesto, Oxnard, Rialto, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco as well as a Port facility at Long Beach.
