Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has relocated its Paducah Service Center to a larger facility to improve service to customers in Kentucky, Missouri and Illinois.

The upgraded 20-door terminal, located at 2100 Shade Tree Drive, will allow Old Dominion to more efficiently manage the sustained growth in freight traffic in the Interstate 24 corridor.

'The larger loading dock will eliminate congestion and allow us to more efficiently service our customers,' said Doyle Fox, the manager of the Paducah Service Center. 'This enhanced facility will help Old Dominion maintain its commitment to providing outstanding service to all its customers in the region.'

For nine years, Old Dominion has maintained a presence in Paducah. With 20 employees, the seven-acre service center is strategically located in close proximity to Interstate 24.

The terminal's coverage area includes four Kentucky cities (Paducah, Murray, Calvert City and Mayfield), two Missouri cities (Sikeston and Cape Girardeau) and two cities in Illinois (Marion and Benton).

The service center was previously located at 823 Estelle Street.
