Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of forward and reverselogistics for a diverse range of finished goods and replacement parts, announced that Panasonic has transferred close to 1,000 parts and accessories accounts to Encompass for parts supply. In December, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company appointed Encompass to serve as a master distributor of both warranty and non-warranty spare parts and accessories for its comprehensive consumer electronics line. Panasonic has notified the bulk of its parts account holders that effective April 1, 2014, they should begin ordering parts through Encompass instead of Panasonic direct. These accounts will remain open with Panasonic through May 1, 2014, to allow for any backorders to be processed. After May 1, any remaining backorders will be cancelled and must be reordered through Encompass.
