The Committee’s special panel focused on freight transportation will hold a hearing next Wednesday on the relationship between the logistics industry and a productive, efficient, and safe national freight system.

U.S. Rep. John J. Duncan, Jr. (R-TN), Chairman of the Panel on 21st Century Freight Transportation, will hold the hearing, entitled “How Logistics Facilitate an Efficient Freight Transportation System,” at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.

Duncan’s panel is a special panel of the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and was established earlier this year specifically to make recommendations for the improvement of U.S. freight transportation.
