Panjiva, the leading intelligence platform for global trade professionals, has announced the availability of a new product, Maritime Monitor. This product is designed to meet the trade analysis and lead generation requirements for the maritime industry. The Maritime Monitor will customize Automated Manifest Systems (AMS) Data (U.S. Customs data) and U.S. Census data to provide trade intelligence for companies looking to identify both import and export shipments for sales lead generation. The tool will also provide a snapshot of current waterborne trends and port trends for additional trade-lane analysis.

The Maritime Monitor will help companies in the maritime industry generate new sales leads and keep ahead of their competitors. Users will be able to run searches and create customized reports based on port of lading, port of unlading, both full container load (FCL) and less container load (LCL) shipments, shipper or consignee name. Additional features include:

• Maritime-specific search fields including: SCAC, vessel, and flight code

• Waterborne trending, ports trending and ports ranking

• Integration with Panjiva Search -- providing detailed data on shippers and consignees

• Ability to export customized reports to Excel or PDF

"Panjiva has been doing this long enough to understand the unique needs of the maritime industry and we've developed this platform with these needs in mind," said Jamison Powell, VP of Sales at Panjiva. "This new platform provides actionable information that shipping and logistics professionals can utilize to make new business connections and smarter trade decisions."
