Philip V. Connors has been named President of Bridge Terminal Transport, Inc. (BTT), a national provider of marine drayage services. Mr. Connors will assume the position October 1. He replaces Clark E. Brown, who retired in July.

Mr. Connors has been in the transportation and shipping industry for most of his career. He was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Maersk Inc., responsible for all sales activities of Maersk Line and Safmarine. He joined Maersk in 1985 and has held numerous positions in the areas of sales, marketing, human resources, intermodal and terminal operations, and customer service. Mr. Connors is well-known throughout the shipping industry and has participated in numerous conferences as a featured speaker. He will relocate from the Madison, NJ headquarters of Maersk to Charlotte, NC.
