Port Contractors opens new Fairless Hills Marine Terminal

Port Contractors, Inc. (PCI), the Wilmington, DE based material handling and marine terminal operator announces the opening of its newest operation in Fairless Hills. PA. PCI Fairless Hills will provide marine terminal services for vessel and cargo interests at the Waste Management Marine Terminal - formerly known as G.R.O.W.S. Terminal. The facility has 2 berths with a draft of 40 feet MLW, 20+ acres of open storage, future plans for warehouse storage of 100,000 sq. ft.

PCI Fairless Hills will offer stevedoring, terminal handling, bulk material handling and storage services to the bulk and breakbulk markets. The facility is strategically located on the northern Delaware River to service markets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.

Port Contractors has been in the marine terminal and material handling business for more than 40 years. The company has operations in Wilmington, DE, Richmond, VA, Charleston, SC, and the Florida ports of Port Canaveral, Port of Palm Beach, Port Everglades, and Port Manatee.

PCI Fairless Hills has a planned opening date of February 1, 2014
