Port Freeport announces winners of 15Th Annual Take-A-Child Fishing Tournament

FREEPORT, TX  - Port Freeport was proud to host its 15th Annual Take-A-Child Fishing Tournament (TACFT) May 9th at the Freeport Municipal Park.  The entry fee of a canned good benefited the Brazoria County Dream Center.  They received over 300 canned goods to help fill their pantry.  There were 240 registered anglers with their families from communities in Brazoria County and beyond generating more than 700 people in attendance.  The young anglers caught a variety of fish and presented a total of 692 that were weighed.  Port Freeport would like to thank everyone who attended and congratulate this year’s winners:
