Heavy-lift freight forwarding network, the Project Professionals Group, has stretched its reach throughout Australia with the appointment of Intramar Pty Ltd.

Intramar was established in 1981 with its corporate headquarters in Melbourne, and branch offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville, Adelaide, and Perth.

PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said Intramar provided logistics services that included ready access to all major international sea and air hubs throughout Australia.

'Intramar already has a track record of success working with PPG members and it is very pleasing that they have officially joined the network as a project forwarder member,' Mr Stephens said.

'Intramar's experience and presence throughout Australia provides a strong platform for PPG members to utilize on behalf of their clients, particularly project cargoes for the renewable energy and natural recourses sectors.'

Intramar are members of IATA and FIATA and have their own bond system and delivery vehicles.
