Purolator International has appointed Scott Hanson as the new Branch Sales Manager for St. Louis, Missouri.  In this role, Hanson will be responsible for generating new sales as well as maintaining and growing Purolator International’s existing customer base in the region.  Hanson has worked as a National Account Manager for DHL Global Express where he closed the largest account in the nation.  He also spent seven years as an Account Executive at FedEx, where he received numerous awards for largest bulk shipments sold, and he was ranked in the top five Account Executives for Central Region in the “Presidents Club Rankings.” “I’d like to welcome Scott to the Purolator International team,” said Randy Stomp, District Manager, Central U.S., Purolator International. “His years of experience and documented success in business development will make him a valuable asset to the company in this growing export market.” Canada is Missouri’s top export partner, with $4 billion in goods and services exported in 2013 according to the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.  According to their research, nearly 6,000 companies export goods from Missouri including manufactured products such as machinery, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, rubber, and aircraft industries.  “I look forward to using my years of sales experience to help Purolator International expand its presence in St. Louis,” said Hanson.  “Purolator International is known for its expertise in export to Canada as well as its dedication to customer service.  It’s a combination that I’m confident will resonate with many Missouri businesses involved in international trade.”
