The Intermodal Association of North America's (IANA) Board of Directors has announced the election of Greg Stefflre, Chief Executive Officer of Rail Delivery Services, Inc. as its Chairman for 2009. Stefflre succeeds Theodore Prince, Principal of T. Prince & Associates, LLC.

Stefflre, who is currently serving his 8th year on the Board, is one of IANA's original Motor Carrier Division Board members. He served in that capacity from 1992'97, and was subsequently 
re-elected as an At-Large member in 2007.

Rounding out the team of newly-elected members of IANA's Executive Committee are Stephen G. Branscum, Group Vice President - Consumer Products, BNSF Railway who will become Vice Chairman, and Steve Rubin, President of Seacastle Chassis, Seacastle, Inc. elected as Treasurer. Branscum succeeds Greg Stefflre as Vice Chairman, while Rubin takes over as Treasurer from Scott Smith, Director, Logistics Services Americas for APL Limited.

'Our new slate officers are well-respected industry executives, thus ensuring that IANA will remain the leader in forging solutions for the intermodal freight transportation community,' said Joni Casey, IANA's President and CEO.

In November, two new directors were elected to the Board for 2009. Chris Munro, President and CEO of Roadlink assumes an At-large Board seat and Patrick Valentine, Director ' Safety and Regulatory Issues at Maersk Equipment Service Company, Inc. will represent IANA's Water Division.

Re-elected directors included Steve Rubin, who will now represent the Supplier Division in addition to his new role as Treasurer, and Jim Handoush, President of Landstar Global Logistics, Inc., who will continue to serve on behalf of IANA's IMC Division. All four were elected to three-year terms that expire in 2011.
