Red Arrow Logistics, a logistics and transportation company serving fast growing, complex and high value supply chains, today announced that it joined the SmartWay' Transport Partnership, a innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry which provides a framework to assess the environmental and energy efficiency of goods movement supply chains.

We are committed to playing a role in environmental leadership by promoting good practice at all levels - internally and externally and believe this SmartWay partnership will be a valuable step towards our efforts to minimize our negative impacts on the environment.'

Developed jointly in early 2003 by EPA and Charter Partners represented by industry stakeholders, environmental groups, American Trucking Associations and Business for Social Responsibility, this innovative program was launched in 2004.
