Ceres Terminals Incorporated is pleased to announce that Robert Moroney has been appointed Director Cruise Services  and will be responsible for overseeing the business development of Ceres Cruise Services in North America, effective September 7, 2014.  He will be based in South Florida. Mr. Moroney has over twenty years experience in senior management positions across multiple industries. For the past eleven years,  he has held worldwide management positions with Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. in Miami, Florida. He participated in the organization and  supervision of the $65 million dollar Port Everglades Terminal 18 construction project and was RCCL’s Manager of Worldwide Port Operations.  Before leaving RCCL, Mr. Moroney was the Manager Worldwide Operations Guest Port Services and responsible for handling the overall guest  experience in Royal Caribbean Cruises’ sixty-three turnaround ports utilized worldwide. He is a graduate of the State University College at Oneonta,  NY with a B.S in Business Economics and Minors in Personnel Administration and Finance. As Ceres’ Director Cruise Services, Mr. Moroney will serve as the primary contact for the company’s cruise customers, implementing cruise contracts for current and new business and assist senior management in the development of marketing/sales objectives and strategies. He will report to Lars Ljoen,  VP Cruise Services/RORO Services. “Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Ceres organization. He has solid connections within the  cruise sector and is well respected in both the marine cargo handling and cruise industries.
