Roland Klein, new Rotterdam Representative in Germany

Roland Klein has been appointed with immediate effect as Rotterdam Representative of the Port of Rotterdam Authority in the region of Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and southern Hessen. The most important cities in this area are Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Frankfurt, Mainz and Stuttgart. The Port Authority would like to attract more cargo to Rotterdam from this region. The appointment is compatible with the Port Authority’s efforts to increase the market share in the hinterland and to expand the role of inland shipping and the railways in hinterland transport. Two years ago Ingrid Rossmeier began as Rotterdam Representative in Bavaria. The Port Authority is glad that it now also has a representative who is going to work intensively in the market in south-west Germany.
