Brazilian truck market sales will probably be "slightly up" next year, reflecting a strong base of comparison after a bullish performance this year, the head of the Brazilian unit of Swedish truck maker Scania AB said.

Total truck sales in Brazil are likely to surpass the 140,000 units sales forecast for 2010, Christopher Podgorski, president of Scania in Brazil, told Reuters. He noted that there is currently a shortage of trucks in Brazil. (Reuters)
