SeaLand will maintain the Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSS) for the fourth quarter of 2015. These levels will come into effect on October 1st, 2015.  The surcharge will apply to all cargo with load port, transhipment and/or discharge port in Emission Control Areas (ECA) in North America (including Puerto Rico). Below table indicates the tariffs of the Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSS) per 40’ container and 45h’ container for the SeaLand trades. 20’ containers will be charged 50% of the tariff for 40’. The surcharge will be applied equally to dry/reefer and trade direction.
