SeaLand Introduces service enhancements under the South Atlantic Express (SAE) Service, bringin improved coverage of the east coast of the United States to Central America, the Caribbean and Colombia. These improvements include an additional call to Philadelphia and improved service reliability with an additional 5th vessel rotation.
This enhanced product will come into effect on May 30th, 2015.
The new services include: Two port calls into Wilmington, NC, allowing for a fast, direct import service and last U.S. touch point for a swift export connection southbound to Central America; Weekend arrival on Sundays in Norfolk for timely Monday morning arrival for refrigerated cargo delivery; Mid-week arrival into Philadelphia for fresh fruit and frozen goods dispatch; 5th Vessel Addition allowing for flexibility and safeguard against weather and operational challenges
