Shipco Transport, one of the leading NVOCC's in the United States, with offices also throughout Europe and Asia, has announced the appointment of Thorkild Hove as 'Director ' Global Accounts,' effective October 1st, 2009.
Hove will be based in the company's Hoboken, NJ headquarters where he will be responsible for maintaining and servicing national/international accounts and further growing this aspect of Shipco's business.
Hove comes to Shipco with more than 30 years' of experience on the carrier side of the industry, where he latterly handled NVOCC accounts for one of the world's largest steamship lines.

With his wealth of knowledge of our industry coupled with already existing relationships with many of these clients, the addition of Thorkild Hove to our corporate team can only further enhance partnerships with the multi-national freight forwarders,' commented Christian Mogelvang, Shipco's President.
