Neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport is expanding its service portfolio with the addition of two new less-than-container load direct services. Both options are unique and first in market LCL services from USA: New York direct to Tunis, Tunisia and Atlanta direct to Karachi, Pakistan.
Shipco’s New York to Tunis service will be sailing bi-weekly. Taking only 17 days port to port, transit time will improve significantly versus traditional transshipment via Europe ports. Destination agent is fellow WorldWide Alliance Member, Transglory, ensuring neutrality at both ends of the shipping process. Joining Shipco’s existing New York to Karachi direct service, the Atlanta to Karachi, Pakistan service will be sailing weekly, with a 26 day transit time port to port. In addition to the focus on neutrality, with Shipco Transport offices at origin and destination, customers can enjoy competitive rates and significant transit time improvements from all origins. “As our network and freight forwarding customer base grow, we continue to identify new direct services that help reduce cost and transit time” said Niels Nielsen, Vice President for the NVO’s U.S. LCL Exports. Adding, “We take pride in being first to market with unique and non-traditional direct services in niche markets” These two new services mark Shipco’s 255th and 256th direct from North America.
