South Korea buys copper, tin via tenders

South Korea has bought 1,000 tonnes of copper and 200 tonnes of tin for April arrival via tenders closed on Feb. 6, the state-run Public Procurement Service said on its website (www.g2b.go.kr). Details of the purchases are as follows:

Copper TONNES SUPPLIER PREMIUM(CIF/T) ORIGIN 1,000 LS-Nikko Copper Inc $167 South Korea

* Note: The copper product will arrive at the port of Incheon by April 15, 2014. The above premiums were made over London Metal Exchange (LME) prices.

Tin TONNES SUPPLIER PREMIUM(CIF/T) ORIGIN 200 LG International Corp $397 Thailand

*Note: The tin product will arrive at the port of Incheon by April 30, 2014. The above premiums were made over London Metal Exchange (LME) prices.
