Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced that Chris Stroup has been promoted to service center manager in Jackson, Mississippi. Since joining Southeastern in 2004, Stroup has served in a variety of roles, including freight handler, operations supervisor and operations manager. Most recently, Stroup served as assistant service center manager in Memphis, Tennessee. “Chris is an outstanding leader with a great track record, committed to providing quality service and creating financial strength for Southeastern,” said Rob Smith, regional vice president of operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. “As someone who embodies our company culture by going above and beyond to provide quality without question service, we are confident Chris will be a great asset in his role as Jackson’s service center manager.”
