Sunteck Transport Group, a non-asset based provider of transportation services, has named Chris Castellaw as vice president of LTL operations and sales.' Castellaw has more than 15 years of transportation operations, procurement and consulting experience and will be based in Jacksonville, Fla.

In his new role, Castellaw will be responsible for developing and executing a full-service, less-than-truckload offering that will expand Sunteck's portfolio of services provided through the company's network of agent offices.' This includes managing LTL operations within the Sunteck network, and developing new TMS applications for all LTL shipments, inclusive of rating engines, LTL software, tariff development and billing/auditing pay functionality.

Prior to this appointment, Castellaw had been co-owner and lead consultant for more than six years with Castellaw Supply Chain Consultants, providing supply chain solutions in the area of contract administration, project planning, operations execution, global procurement, TMS/WMS software integrations, carrier negotiations and six sigma certifications.'' Before that, he was senior account manager for North American operations and sourcing with Caterpillar Logistics, senior implementation and procurement manager with Exel Logistics, and implementation and procurement manager for Cendian Corporation.' Castellaw began his transportation career with Ryder Integrated Logistics as business logistics manager.
