The last edition of "Air Cargo News - Cargo Airline of the Year Award" saw Swiss WorldCargo walk off with top honors: At the silver jubilee celebrations of the "Oscars" of the air cargo industry, which took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, Chief Cargo Officer of SWISS, Oliver Evans, was presented with the Best European Cargo Airline award in front of 500 industry guests.
For 25 years the awards have recognized the very best achievements and highest standards of quality and service provided by cargo airlines around the world. This year, "Cargo Airline of the Year" has revamped its award categories to better reflect the excellence of cargo carriers on a worldwide basis. This means that airline could qualify for an award in the area where it was registered in and not in the ones where it flies.
"Receiving the award is a real honor and testament to the superb performance of our European team, who have worked closely with our customers in the region to identify their specific needs and deliver outstanding products and services," Oliver Evans comments.
BIFA, the British International Freight Association has audited and approved the votes and voting procedure.
