TRAC Intermodal announced that it has expanded its TRAC Connect product to the South Atlantic Chassis Pool ("SACP") to provide chassis solutions for Motor Carriers servicing CMA CGM. As previously announced, CMA CGM is discontinuing the practice of providing chassis to Motor Carriers as part of its operations in the United States in order to increase operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact. TRAC Intermodal has been working with CMA CGM to develop an effective strategy to supply Motor Carriers directly with chassis for the pick-up and delivery of CMA CGM loads.

The SACP is an expansion of the recently launched TRAC Connect product locations. TRAC Connect is a web-based marketplace designed to provide chassis rental, leasing and related services to the intermodal drayage community for marine chassis needed on a short to medium term basis. TRAC Connect offers the value and efficiency of pooling, the availability and quality of TRAC Intermodal chassis, and the economy of only paying for on-demand usage.

Under the new chassis management plan, the supply of chassis will be the responsibility of the Motor Carriers. Motor Carriers are encouraged to use TRAC Intermodal for chassis requirements. Motor Carriers servicing CMA CGM shipments with'TRAC Intermodal chassis must have an interchange agreement in place with the company'in advance of the respective rollout dates for the various cities. Interchange agreements can be obtained through the TRAC Connect website at www.tracconnect.com.
