Trans Global Logistics (TGL), a leading Hong Kong-based logistics company, announced the appointment of Dominic Janusky as vice president of business development. Janusky will manage Trans Global's sales and marketing efforts in the Midwest to bring on new business, expand relationships with existing accounts, and put in place initiatives to identify and close new business opportunities.

Janusky reports to Robert W. Mooney, president of Trans Global Logistics USA.

'The management team at Trans Global is very pleased to welcome Dominic to our global organization,' says Mooney. 'Dominic has a long and successful track record in the logistics industry and he is dedicated to his customers and ensuring that services meet their evolving needs.'

Janusky brings with him more than 20 years of experience in international logistics.

Janusky joins TGL from FedEx Trade Networks, where he worked for 10 years as a senior account executive. In that capacity, he covered the Midwest region and he had several national accounts. Prior to working at FTN, Janusky was an account executive for four years at Fritz Companies and air freight forwarder Air Compak International. He also was an account executive with Speedmark Transportation, another forwarder. Janusky got his start in transportation with American Airlines, where he was a ramp manager for more than two years.

'I am energized to join the TGL team,' says Janusky. 'Trans Global's staff delivers great service, the company has an extensive network in the Asia-Pacific, and I have known and worked with members of management team in the past. I look forward to helping TGL aggressively grow its air freight product.'

Janusky will be based in Chicago at TGL's O'Hare International office.
