Transporeon and Ticontract, two Transporeon Group companies specializing in e-logistics solutions, have established a local presence in the fast-growing Asian market. The Singapore office opened in November this year, following the company's entry into the US market in October 2011 when it set up an office in Philadelphia.

Expansion into the Asian and US markets signals the next phase of extending the Group's network outside of Europe.

The Transporeon Group's Web-based solutions take companies right from the start of the tendering process through to auditing and reporting and ensure efficient operations at the loading ramps. By expanding into the Asian market, the group aims to improve the service it offers to existing customers there, acquire new customers and thus ensure that the strategic growth of the Transporeon Group continues. "Transport networks are now planned and managed from many places throughout the world. Our global presence puts us in a better position to act as a reliable partner to our customers and help them expand into markets around the world," says Roland H'tzl, Managing Director of Ticontract GmbH in Kempten.

Particularly in Asia, global transport management systems are either insufficiently well established or they are very fragmented, yet demand in the market is high. "Our comprehensive range of products throughout the supply chain complement each other very well, cover all transport logistics requirements and position us as an attractive provider of e-logistics solutions to industry and logistics service providers there," adds Peter F'rster, Managing Director of Transporeon GmbH in Ulm.
