Triton Overseas Transport, an industry-leading NVOCC and international freight service provider, has announced its plans to partner with FPS Rotterdam to launch a new, weekly less-than-container-load (LCL) import service from Europe to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and California.  The maiden voyage will depart on November 15, 2013 and travel via the Port of Rotterdam to the Port of Houston.  Aligned with its mission to offer personalized customer care, the new LCL import service will enhance Triton’s sailings from Europe just in time for the busy holiday season, and offer fast transportation solutions at competitive rates to its international customer base. “We are very excited to launch the new import service from Europe.  Over the past 19 years, Europe has been one of our longest-standing LCL trade lanes.  We have secured a strong position as a reliable importer from the region, and are eager to offer a regular schedule of sailing to our customers.  Seated in the Gulf of Mexico, we will utilize our location to offer our customers fast, reliable transportation, and will work with FPS Rotterdam to provide smooth consolidation and quick-turnaround on rates,” commented William Onorato, CEO of Triton Overseas Transportation. FPS Rotterdam specializes in weekly consolidation services from Rotterdam to more than 1200 destinations worldwide.  Partnering with FPS, Triton will utilize a global network of partners to ensure the timely delivery of cargo; up-to-date information regarding the status of cargo will be provided to its international customer base.
