US and European Union government regulators involved in EU/US Open Skies negotiations will express their views at The International Air Cargo Association's (TIACA) Executive Conference in Cologne in April.

Speaking in the session 'Turbulence over the Atlantic,' Andrew B. Steinberg, Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs in the US Government will share the stand with Daniel Calleja, Director of Air Transport in the European Commission.

Gary Bartek, Chairman of TIACA, said: 'We are proud that two such eminent regulatory officials see value in participating in TIACA's Executive Conference. This reinforces the Association's reputation at government level in the world's major trading nations. We are looking forward to a lively debate that will give our delegates the opportunity to hear directly from both sides of the current negotiations and we hope and expect that Mr. Steinberg and Mr. Calleja will also welcome the opportunity to hear the opinions of the senior air cargo industry executives that attend our Executive Conference.'

TIACA's AGM and Executive Conference will take place in Cologne from April 15th-17th 2007 and provides an opportunity for over 250 top industry executives ' both TIACA members and non-members ' to network and debate current issues facing the air cargo industry. The full agenda for the event can be found at www.tiaca.org.
