  • WWPC is an international network focused on the performance of project cargo amongst logistic companies worldwide.

Vasco Gallega Group, the Spanish member of the Worldwide Project Consortium(WWPC), has organized the transport of 57 windmills nacelles from Bilbao (Spain) to Salvador (Brazil).

The whole operation has been carried out by VGG who has provided export customs clearance, heavylift handlingof units, loading, unloading, sea transport and handling up to FOT at destination.

The project performed by VGG has counted with the collaboration of other 2 members of the WWPC, O'Lisboain Brazil and Beluga Chartering sponsor member.

According to Mr. Xoán M. Reboredo, executive Director of VGG 'this Operation proves VGG capacity as an international logistic operator and it is an example of the business possibilities that the WWPC offers. As the WWPC Spanish representative, VGG counts with the necessary infrastructure to handle all kind of international projects that result from this network. Besides, the collaboration with other WWPC members is a good experience and provides the opportunity to approach new business fields that we are already exploring and in which we expect to succeed in these coming months.

This operation represents the global scope of the Worldwide Project Consortium, an international network focus on supporting the activity of the logistics companies dealing with project cargo. Each of them formally undertakes to operate under a strict Code of Conduct and only the most dedicated, experienced and viable experts in project forwarding, with a proven track record, will be admitted to the WWPC.

VGC represents Spain from the beginning, providing more than 100 operations yearly through logistic freight management, warehousing, storage and distribution, collaborating with companies from Brazil, China or Kenya.
