CMA CGM Group is pleased to announce that the CMA CGM TIGRIS, one of the latest CMA CGM vessels, will be calling the Port of Santos on February, 6th. CMA CGM will be the first carrier to introduce a vessel of such a capacity in Brazil. The CMA CGM TIGRIS is a 10,622 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) vessel that will be added to the fixed-day and weekly SEAS2 service. It will call 13 ports, connecting Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa within 90 days. The introduction of this vessel is in line with the CMA CGM Group’s flexibility, and its strategy of fleet adaptation regarding its clients and markets’ needs. The CMA CGM TIGRIS responds to the Brazilian market specificities: Equipped with the largest capacity in reefer plugs on such a ship, the vessel allows an unprecedented loading capacity of meat, poultry and fruits, some of Brazil most exported products, Its structure responds to the draft constraints and Brazilian ports infrastructure.
