XLProjects Network (XLP), the young, vibrant and fast growing network for project forwarders and breakbulk charterers, just successfully completed their second Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Budapest, Hungary. The AGM was well attended by a high percentage of member companies, doubling the successful AGM in Cape Town, South Africa in 2013. The event boasted representation from every inhabited continent and more new faces than old faces. "I've been involved with other projects groups in the past," said Gary Dale Cearley, XLProjects Executive Director, "but this meeting was special. There was so much positive energy in the event that it will drive us even harder to make the meeting even more special next year. But the members of XLProjects are definitely worth the effort. They are the industry best, bar none." "I really got a charge of satisfaction from the relationship building I saw here in Budapest," added Steve Cross, XLProjects Business Development Manager, "Everyone here was making new connections professionally as well as on a personal level. This is what it is all about. This is how I know what we've done here was a success." The meeting was held in the Corinthia Hotel Budapest from September 21st to September 23rd with a banquet night out at the Vén Hajó Étterem, a restaurant boat and museum on the Danube river, featuring an after dinner scenic evening river cruise.  Sponsors of the XLProjects AGM included L.C. van Tiel Logistics, CargoTrans and Tehran Rahvar Company (Captain level). The dates and location of the 2015 AGM will be announced soon.
