Yusen Logistics (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. acquired a customs license from the Cambodian Ministry of Economy and Finance on February 10, enabling the company to offer customs clearance services for Cambodian imports and exports. The customs operations will be conducted through the Head Office, Phnom Penh Airport Branch Office and the Sihanoukville Branch Office. Previously, Yusen Logistics made arrangements for customs clearance through a licensed partner. However, conducting procedures in-house will facilitate greater control, achieving swift and transparent clearance. Registration has also been completed for Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) and Direct Trader Input (DTI), which is only approved for customs license holders, enabling Yusen Logistics to build strong operations from a hardware perspective also. By leveraging in-house customs clearance operations, Yusen Logistics is able to offer services not only to retail-related businesses, but to all clients facing challenges in Cambodian customs, including investment projects and Out of Delivery Area  (ODA) related activities. As one of the few logistics providers able to offer one-stop comprehensive logistics services in Cambodia, Yusen Logistics aims to further enhance the quality of import and export operations.
