Yusen Logistics celebrates presence in 40 countries at Myanmar inauguration

The recent official inauguration of Yusen Logistics (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. sees Yusen Logistics’ presence increase to a total of 40 countries spanning the globe.

At the opening ceremony held in Yangon, Myanmar, Hiromitsu Kuramoto President of Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd., commented: “With our medium-term business plan ‘GO FORWARD, Yusen Logistics – Next Challenges,’ Yusen Logistics will continue to push ahead with our expansion program in the ASEAN region. We are continuing to build on our established infrastructure, rolling out networks to mirror clients’ changing sourcing patterns.”

During the opening ceremony, Kuramoto expressed the Group’s hopes for the new company, stating, “With the growing importance of logistics in Myanmar, Yusen Logistics’ provision of valuable logistics services will contribute to the development of the country.”

The opening ceremony was attended by approximately 100 people, including the Japanese ambassador to Myanmar, Tateshi Higuchi.
