To support heavy cargo movers, carriers and equipment owners, AJOT is organizing the 1st exhibition focused on this important segment of transportation.
In association with the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), a global network for project cargo forwarders; and Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE), a global network for asset based companies such as equipment owners for heavy haulage and lifting, ports and airports, barge operators, stevedores and export packers - all focused on moving heavy and oversized cargo, AJOT has selected the Venetian Exhibition Centre in Macao to be the host for the first show.
Typical exhibitors will be project cargo forwarders, heavy lift ship owners, cargo aircraft operators, heavy haulage companies, crane operators, barge companies, stevedores, export packers, ports and airports handling heavy cargo, manufacturers of heavy haulage equipment and crane manufacturers amongst others.
”With direct access to the Chinese market in the immediate vicinity we believe this exhibition will be a huge success, and we would like to thank the management of WWPC and CEE for their participation and support of this project. Macao will be the first time this type of exhibition is presented, and we have plans to continue with similar exhibitions in both the USA and Europe, to compliment Macao, on a yearly basis” says George Lauriat, Editor in Chief for AJOT.
The management of the WWPC and CEE are also positive in their views of this type of exhibition.
”Until now there is no such exhibition available for the Heavy Cargo Movers only, and we are gladly assisting AJOT in arranging the Macao exhibition and are actively promoting the same to our members and sponsors,” says Wolfgang Karau, Operational Director for both the networks WWPC and CEE.
”For this type of exhibition Macao is a wonderful starting point, situated at the doorsteps of the world’s largest and fastest growing market, and we are delighted to have been able to secure the venue for this show and are sure the services and rates for exhibitors and visitors alike will be very attractive and contribute to deliver a great product,” says Stuart Murdoch, Administrative Director for both the networks WWPC and CEE.
