CEVA completes the organization which will support its global strategy focus on Supply Chain SolutionsCEVA Logistics, one of the leading supply chain companies in the world, has appointed Coen van der Maarel to the position of Global Sector Director Consumer Goods and Retail, effective March 1. In this role, Coen will work closely with CEVA’s Contract Logistics and Freight Management Business Units to substantially increase the organization’s market share in the industry sector. With over 20 years in the logistics industry, van der Maarel comes directly from Christian Salvesen, where he held the position of Managing Director for Mainland Europe. Prior to that, he worked for Tibbett & Britten, Exel and later DHL Exel. At CEVA, he will be responsible for managing Global Key Accounts and developing Smart Supply Chain Solutions for the Consumer Goods and Retail industry. ‘I feel very privileged to be a part of this new leading brand in logistics. In the coming months, we will intensify customer contacts to develop continuously our tailor-made solutions, thereby reinforcing our footprint in the Consumer Goods and Retail market.’ With Coen’s appointment, CEVA completes the organization supporting its global strategy focus on Supply Chain Solutions for three global industry sectors: Automotive, headed by Jeff Hurley; Technology, led by Jan Martin Witbreuk; and Consumer Goods and Retail.
