AAR statement on death of CSX CEO Hunter Harrison

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Edward R. Hamberger, Association of American Railroads President and CEO, released the following statement on the death of E. Hunter Harrison, President and Chief Executive Officer of CSX. “I am deeply saddened by Hunter Harrison’s passing and offer my sympathies to all who knew, loved and admired him. He was an icon who left an indelible mark on North American railroading. On behalf of the entire rail industry, I would like to extend the sincerest condolences to Hunter’s family during this difficult time.”
